Terms & Conditions

Last updated

These terms apply when you request a quotation, place an order, or buy a rack from Storeroomrack.com. Please read them before ordering — placing an order means you accept them.

1. Who you are contracting with

Storeroom Rack, trading as Storeroomrack.com, of 1092 Lower Delta Road, #06-10, Singapore 169203. Telephone (65) 6372 1581. General enquiries: hello@storeroomrack.com.

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person or organisation placing the order.

2. Quotations

A quotation sets out the racks, sizes and prices we are offering, and is valid for 30 days from the date we issue it. It is based on the measurements and information you give us. If the space turns out to differ from what was supplied — a wall that is shorter than measured, a doorway that will not take the panels — the quotation may need to be revised.

After 30 days, ask us to reissue rather than relying on the old figures: material prices and stock availability both move.

Getting the measurements right up front avoids nearly all of this. Our guide to measuring your storeroom before ordering a rack covers what to record and the clearances people miss.

3. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order form or accepting a quotation is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we confirm the order to you. We may decline an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if delivery access is not workable, or if the details cannot be verified — and if we do, we will tell you and refund anything already paid.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are those stated on the quotation or order confirmation, in Singapore dollars.

We are not GST-registered, so no GST is charged on your order and none appears on your invoice. The price you are quoted is the price you pay, plus delivery.

We currently accept:

  • Cash on delivery
  • PayLah! or PayNow
  • e-Invoice / Vendor@Gov

Card payments are not available. We do not accept Visa, Mastercard or NETS at present. If a site or listing offers to take card details on our behalf, it is not us — please contact us directly.

5. Delivery

Delivery to a home address — HDB, condominium or landed — is a flat S$40 anywhere in Singapore, and we aim to deliver within 3 working days of a confirmed order. Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed times; we are not liable for losses caused by a delay outside our control.

You are responsible for telling us about access constraints — lift dimensions, stair-only access, restricted delivery windows, security clearance at the building. Full conditions, including what happens if nobody is present to receive the goods, are in our delivery and shipping policy.

6. Risk and title

Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to your address or collected by you. Ownership passes only when we have received payment in full. Please inspect the goods on arrival and report any shortage or transit damage to us promptly.

7. Warranty

Every rack carries a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects. What is covered, what is excluded, and how to make a claim are set out in full on our warranty page.

8. Returns

Returns and exchanges are governed by our return policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in it affects your statutory rights.

9. Use of the racks

Racks must be assembled as supplied and loaded within their rated capacity, with heavier items low and weight spread across each shelf. Do not modify, cut, drill or weld a rack, and do not use an indoor rack outdoors or anywhere persistently wet. We are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from overloading, modification or misuse.

10. Limitation of liability

Our liability in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business interruption, or damage to goods stored on a rack. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Your information

We handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act. What we collect through quotations and order forms, why, how long we keep it and how to ask for a copy or a correction are all set out in our privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when we confirmed it, so the date at the top of this page matters. We do not apply changes retrospectively to orders already confirmed.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Singapore law, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

14. Getting in touch

Questions about these terms, an order, or anything else: hello@storeroomrack.com, telephone (65) 6372 1581, or see the opening hours and directions on our contact page.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does a contract between us actually form?

When we confirm your order, not when you submit it. A quotation is an invitation to order and an order form is an offer — we may need to check stock, access or lead time before we accept. You will always receive a confirmation from us, and that is the point the contract is formed.

How long is a quotation valid for?

30 days from the date we issue it. Steel prices and stock move, so once a quotation is past 30 days, ask us to reissue it rather than assuming the figures still hold — it usually takes minutes. You can request a fresh quotation at any time.

Can I cancel or change an order after confirming it?

Tell us as soon as possible. Before we despatch, changes are usually straightforward. Once a rack has left us, the return policy applies instead. Custom configurations that have already been cut or picked may not be changeable.

Who is responsible for the rack once it arrives?

Risk passes to you on delivery or collection. Check the goods when they arrive and tell us about shortages or transit damage promptly, while it can still be traced. Title stays with us until the order is paid in full.

Which country’s law applies?

Singapore law governs these terms and any dispute arising from them, and the Singapore courts have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes rights you have under Singapore consumer legislation. If something has gone wrong, talk to us first — most problems are settled in a phone call.
